Work and Education History

  • 2018-Present I am currently a Faculty Developer in the Trefny Center at Colorado School of Mines. In this role, I provide support and resources related to effective teaching and learning at Mines.
  • 2018 I received my PhD in Engineering Education from Virginia Tech. For my dissertation, I studied engineering students’ professional development in living-learning communities. I was co-advised by Drs. Marie Paretti and Denise Simmons.
  • 2018 I received my MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
  • 2012-2013 I was a Software Consultant for PTC where I configured and customized data management software to meet the needs of customers.
  • 2009 I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University.
